Half Day Introduction To Rock Climbing & Abseiling £40 pp

During this introductory session you will learn some of the basic techniques involved in climbing and using your hands and feet as well as how to position your body to help you reach the top of the crag. You will also be introduced to standard safety protocol including commands and verbal communication as well as belaying and tying some basic knots.

Once you have mastered some of the basic climbing techniques and reached the top, it’s time to come down by abseiling your way back to the bottom of the crag.

All of the time that you are climbing & abseiling you will be held by your instructor on a safety rope and be fitted with a harness and climbing helmet.
