Canyoning In The Cairngorm National Park

Highland Activities run canyoning trips near Aviemore in the Cairngorm National Park. The Scottish Highlands is a fantatsic location for canyoning due to the steep and rocky mountains with plenty of mountain streams waiting to be expored. Highland Activities run canyoning trips from our base at Ardverikie Estate which is 30 miles from Aviemore.

From the meeting point we will take a short drive on to our favourite canyoning location at Loch Laggan. Our Highland canyoning adventure will take you on a journey down “The River of the Caves” where you will descend over a series of waterfalls, slide down smooth chutes up to 40 feet long and jump from cliffs over 20 feet high.

Who Can Go Canyoning?

Anyone over the age of 12 that has a reasonable level of fitness can come on our canyoning trips.

When Can We Go Canyoning?

Highland Activites run canyoning trips from April until the end of October. After this the weather is generally a little too cold for canyoning.

How Much Does Canyoning Cost?

Highland Activities Canyoning trips cost £50 pp and include:
