White Water Canoeing Near Aviemore

Highland Activities run white water funyakking on the River Spey near Aviemore for pre booked groups. Funyakking is very similar to white water canoeing in a stable 2 man inflatable boat. You will descend the River with a partner learning how to steer the boat through the rapids along the way.  

The River Spey is one of Scotland’s largest rivers and is fed from the Cairgorm mountains and runs straight in whisky country and into the sea at Spey Bay. The section of the River Spey that we run is Ballindaloch to Knockando and has plenty of grade2 rapids to keep you occupied with the highlights being The Washing Machine & Knockando rapid.

Who Can Go Funyakking On The Spey?

The Rive Spey trip is a fun trip for almost any group from families to stag and hens. We have a minimum age of 8 years + for funyakking on the Spey.

How Much Does It Cost?

A white water funyakking trip down the River Spey costs £50 pp and includes:

• Full instruction & professional river guide
