The Isle of Skye is the most accessable Hebredian Island as it is connected to the mainland by the Skye bridge and only a half an hour ferry ride from Mallaig. It is possible to take a trip to the Isle of Skye from London Euston by train & boat without the need to drive, or fly into Glagow & get the train to Mallaig along the stunning west coast line & then catch the ferry from Mallaig accross the Sound of Sleat.
